One of your gardens should be in next summer's
ANLD Garden Tour!
We are now scouting for gardens with a final selection to
be made prior to November 1. We need gardens to start the selection of
geographic area, so pick up your phone ASAP and say ”Hey, Carol and
Lori, I might have a garden for you!”

Scenes Garden Tour
- A Showcase
for Garden Designers
The 2008 Tour was a huge success!
Thanks to all of the hard working volunteers and ticket purchasers, ANLD
will be able to fund four $1,000 scholarships to
Landscape Design Students at PCC & CCC (2 scholarships for each school
for the winter 2009 term).
In spite of the hot weather the tour was
enjoyed by all. Tour Director Carol Lindsay got the following note from
one of the owners the garden designed by Janene Walkky:
Dear Carol,
I
hope there is a method by which you can share with all your members how
pleased I was to be a part of your 2008 garden tour. The organization
of the event was awesome and I loved sharing our garden. I tell
EVERYONE I can “you
are crazy if you don’t hire a landscape designer!”
You all are great!! Thanks for including us.
