MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS AND EVENTS

Monthly Meetings- Meetings include educational speakers, forums, design presentations and a chance to meet others in the landscaping profession. The doors open at 6:30 for a light supper before the meeting, come early to eat and network! See our Events Page for a list of upcoming ANLD meetings

Networking and Volunteer Opportunities- The ANLD offers opportunities for business networking and creative interaction with landscape professionals. We encourage members to volunteer on one of our committees or on the board. We rely on our members to continue our fine programs.

Nursery and Garden Tours- During July through August, ANLD meetings move outdoors. Members visit nurseries, designer’s gardens and other outstanding gardens, focusing on topics from previous programs.

Annual Educational Seminar- Each year we sponsor a day-long workshop developed to assist independent landscape designers with the challenges of running a business, and other related topics. Some past topics have included: “How to Develop a Business Plan”, “Sales and Marketing”, “Creative Collaboration with Contractors”, and “Business Organization”.

E-Newsletter- Email announcements about opportunities and events of value to ANLD members.

Booths and Display Gardens- ANLD has had display booths at various Garden Shows to inform the public about our organization and the role of Landscape Designers. We also have had the privilege of creating display gardens to illustrate our craft, and introduce interesting plants to the public.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

ANLD Membership

Membership is $50.00 a year. With your membership, you can display your profile along with other landscape professionals in the Portland area. Attend our meetings, receive reduced admittance to events and be eligible to submit your garden design for consideration in our annual ANLD Garden Tour.

ANLD STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

Student Membership is $40.00 a year. Students must indicate the school they are attending.
